"An isolated dance studio for a slender, young woman to escape the traumas of reality."

Final Model

The curvilinear form articulated into the ground floor reflects the turning pivot required by a car to drive around the villa, and park in the garage. The slenderness of columns emphasises the physical lightness of the building - being a less impacting entity towards the abundance of nature surrounding it.

Interior/exterior relationships are dealt with through glazing - transparent surfaces implying the notion of the building being an extension of the landscape rather than a foreign entity.
